About the Art

The Plasmic Impressions collection began as an exploration of paint on wood, canvas, glass and a variety of textures and substrates. These works inspired further elaboration using high resolution scans of the paintings to fashion stylized digital renderings. Series-A features a selection of 18 original acrylic paintings that create the foundation for the color compositions and Plasmaria Kaleidoscopes.

Each individual panel has a mirror reflection, and is one of a pair of opposites forming the Plasmic Impression. Etheric traits combine with all the elements involved in the process of creation.

I find the paintings conjure a sense of forests, ocean, snow, mystical environments, and odd creatures. For me, the Plasmic Impressions reflect natural forces and inspire the imagination.
